WINAMAC - Alice Faye (Reinholt) Peterson, 101 of Winamac, passed away Friday, March 21, at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.

She was born July 27, 1923 in Winamac, to the late John W. and Jennie Fern Moore Reinholt. She married Donald G. Peterson. He died Jan. 14, 1996.

Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker. As a child she helped on the farm by milking the cows. She had worked as a janitor at the Culver Academy Beason Memorial Park for many years. She was a hard worker her whole life. She was a member of the Riverbank Church and the Ladies Aid of the church. She was also a member of the Lawton Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and sold her produce. She was an avid fisherman in Florida and ice fished at Bruce Lake. She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 27, at the funeral home with Jon Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition).

Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Community Church Bruce Lake.
