WINAMAC - Mary Jane Carmany, 81, of Knox, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, at her home.

She was born March 12, 1934 in Winamac, to the late Floyd A. and Emma Marie Green Hilt. She married Clarence I. Carmany who preceded her in death on Feb.15, 1987.

Survivors include:
Francis "Frank" Hilt, Knox, Son
Robert "Bobby" Hilt, Kewanna, Son
4 Grandchildren: Lisa, Shane, Amy, and Robert
Numerous Great Grandchildren
William "Bill" (Vi) Hilt, North Judson, Brother
Several Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by:
Betty A. Barlow Combs, Sister
Ettabelle Hilt, Sister

Mrs. Carmany was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed puzzle books, playing cards, and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac.  Private burial will take place at a later date at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
