WINAMAC - Patricia Louise "Patty" Jensen, 64, of Winamac, passed away at 6:10 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born July 30, 1953 in Gary, to the late John and Donna Louise Welsh Mudryk. She was a 1971 graduate of Winamac High School. On Dec. 8, 1979, she married Charles Albert "Charlie" Jensen. He passed away April 13, 2013.

She is survived by: 
Jessica Marie Thoune, Winamac, Daughter 
Arianna Marie Jensen, Winamac, Granddaughter 
Mia Celestial Thoune, Winamac, Granddaughter 
Diane (Dennis) Franklin, Summerville, SC, Sister 
Sherry Hurley, Winamac, Sister 
Several Nieces and Nephews

Mrs. Jensen retired from Braun Corporation in 2012 where she had worked many years. Over the years she had also worked as a salesclerk at Hook's Drug Store and Schultz Bros. 5 & 10 in Winamac. She was also a self-employed housekeeper and had worked for Pulaski Memorial Hospital as a home health aide. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and being outside on her swing. She was an animal lover who had many cats and rabbits at home. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
