Rosamond L. Pfledderer

May 31, 1925 to August 2, 2018

FRANCESVILLE - Rosamond L. "Rosie" Pfledderer, 93, lifelong resident of Francesville, passed away peacefully at 11:40 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, with her family at her side at Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville. For the last two years, she had resided at Aster Place, Lafayette.

She was born May 31, 1925 in Francesville to the late Charles A. and Mary A. Ahler Weaver. She was a 1943 graduate of Francesville High School. On June 21, 1945, she married the late Leslie "Les" Pfledderer in Francesville.

She is survived by: 
Paul (Judy) Pfledderer, Crawfordsville, Son 
Mary (Norm) Putt, Francesville, Daughter 
Denny (Patty) Pfledderer, Francesville, Son 
Julie (Mike) Raymond, Naples, FL Daughter 
Sally (Tim) Wuethrich, Francesville, Daughter

21 Great Grandchildren 
Several Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by: 
5 Brothers: Edmund Weaver, Wilfred Weaver, Leonard Weaver, Charles "Bud" Weaver and John Weaver 
5 Sisters: Lucille Jobe, Mary Clabby, Pauline Weaver, Madge Render and Jane Nelson

Mrs. Pfledderer was a member of St. Francis Solano Catholic Church in Francesville. She was a volunteer with Jasper County Hospice, Parkview Haven Retirement Home and Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (Pink Ladies). She was a member of the Francesville Alumni Association, Pulaski County Relay for Life and Francesville Fall Festival. She was a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash Award and was selected as Francesville Citizen of the Year. She was a proud homemaker and had also worked at West Central Schools for over 25 years. The joy of Rosie's life was her family, friends and community. She always saw to the comfort of others and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 6, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home with Rev. James Ketchen officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
