FRANCESVILLE - Samuel Beecher Bumbalough, 80 of Lafayettte, formerly of Francesville, passed away Tuesday, May 3, at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN.

He was born Jan. 18, 1942 in Rensselaer, to Herman D. and Ruby P. Robinson Bumbalough. He graduated from Francesville High School in 1960, and attended Fort Wayne Business College. On Oct. 27, 1963 he married Bonnie Moncel in Francesville. She survives.

Mr. Bumbalough worked for many years at People State Bank in Francesville. He enjoyed golfing and riding motorcycles. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He always enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Private burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
