WINAMAC - Betty L. Danford, 84, of Winamac, passed away at 2:40 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.
She was born Aug. 20, 1937 in Star City to Clinton and Esther Schultz Drach. She married J.D. Danford on Aug. 4, 1957. He survives.

Mrs. Danford worked as a dietary aide at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac for 25 years. She also worked as a waitress at Star City, and was a former employee at Stipp Bakery in Winamac. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Winamac. She enjoyed playing BINGO and sitting in her yard swing. She was also an avid IU basketball fan.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Friday Aug. 19, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. (Friday), at the funeral home with Rev. David Norris officiating. Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery in Star City.
