To have known Philip, was to truly love him. He was friendly to all. He loved to play games with his family, especially when he would win. He was a jokester who made everyone smile. He loved to sing and dance. He had his own style. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing basketball, woodworking, and salvaging. Most importantly, he loved Jesus: And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39

Visitation will follow from 3 to 8 p.m. (Monday), at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at a later date at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.
