George E. Richardson
June 4, 1927 to December 7, 2017
CULVER - George E. Richardson, 90, of Monterey, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, in Culver.
He was born June 4, 1927 in Alexandria, IN, one of five children born to Perry and Mary (Manning) Richardson. He married Barbara Carter in the early 1950s, and together they had four sons. After their divorce, he later married Katherine Small on April 23, 1965 in Anderson. Together they raised six children.
He is survived by his sons: Robert (Tami) Richardson of Fulton, and Tim (Roberta) Richardson of Monterey; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Katherine; sons Larry and Steve Richardson; daughters Tina and Shelia Summers; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
Being very patriotic, Mr. Richardson joined the U.S. Navy. After three months he was discharged after it was discovered that he was under age. Later, in 1950, he was inducted into the U.S. Army and served in Korea. After his discharge, he took a job
for Lynch Corporation. He spent 36 years as an electrician there. He enjoyed going to auctions, sports, hunting, and fishing. He was also a big Colts fan.
A time to gather with the family will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Odom Funeral Home, Culver. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.
Memorials may be given in Mr. Richardson’s memory to the Finney-Shilling VFW Post 6919 in Culver or the Collins-Tasch American Legion Post 399 in Monterey.
Donald L. Davis Jr.
November 24, 1945 to December 6, 2017
NORTH JUDSON - Donald LeRoy Davis Jr., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov.24, 1945.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eleanor; his son Donald LeRoy Davis III of Monterey; his daughter Marsha Davis of Winamac; and four grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters Dorothy (Sonny) Lawson of LaPorte and Angie Myhand of Michigan City; and sisters-in-law Anita Davis and Judy Habaj, both of LaPorte.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Donald LeRoy Sr. and Harriet Davis, and brothers, Raymond Davis Sr., Joseph Habaj Sr., and Robert Davis.
Mr. Davis was a man who loved to be outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. He served 35 years in the U.S military, five years in the Marine Corp and 30 years in the Army Reserves. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He met his wife while working at Winchester in Kingsbury at the ammunition plant where he was a maintenance man. He retired From Plymouth Tube in Winamac where he was also a maintenance man. He was loved by so many. He will truly be missed. He had attended the Knox Freewill Baptist church for the last few years to worship the lord.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. (CT), Friday, Dec. 8, at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North Judson. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. (CT), Saturday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Denham Cemetery, Winamac.
Roberta M. Rambo-Dehnart
March 6, 1946 to December 9, 2017
CHESTERTON - Roberta May Rambo-Dehnart, 71 of Winamac, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec.9, at her home.
She was born March 6, 1946 in Gary, to Raymond and Goldie Rambo, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 21, 1996, she married Jeffery Dehnart, who survives in Winamac.

She is also survived by her 10 children: Bobbi Williamson of Carrollton, TX, Davon Doty of Winamac, Rebecca Despot of Winamac, Louis (Guy) Rugg of Winamac, Richard Rugg of Michigan City, Timothy Dehnart of Michigan City, Justin Dehnart of Medaryville, Paul Dehnart of Chesterton, and Mark Dehnart of Chesterton; her 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Williamson.
Mrs. Rambo-Dehnart worked as a cook at the Pulaski County Jail for many years. She loved spending time with her family, flowers, and hummingbirds.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 15, at Winamac First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Dave Marty and Rev. Laura Bailey officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the funeral service from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery, Winamac. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
Memorial donations may be given to the Pulaski County Food Pantry, 115 N. Pearl St., Winamac.

Paul R. Schultz
May 14, 1929 to December 7, 2017
MEDARYVILLE - Paul Richard Schultz, 88, of Medaryville, passed away at 10:08 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
He was born May 14, 1929 in North Judson to the late Alfred Paul and Meta A. Turner Schultz. On Oct. 20, 1948 he married Kathryn Joan Wagner in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Schultz was a longtime resident of Medaryville where he was the owner of Schultz Garage. He had been active with the Lion's Club and Medaryville Volunteer Fire Department. He served as Pulaski County Sheriff from 1978-81 and was a lifetime member of the Indiana Sheriff's Association. He was an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the family farm. He also enjoyed gardening. He loved his family very much, especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
No services will be held.

Marco A. Martinez

MEDARYVILLE - Marco Antonio Martinez, 45, of Medaryville, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, in South Bend.
He was born Sept. 20, 1972 in Logansport. In May 1999, he married Amy Jo Todd in Medaryville. She preceded him in death on Feb. 2, 2009.
He is survived by his two children, Gavin and Zoe.
A private graveside service will be held at Weston Cemetery, Rensselaer.

WINAMAC - Sarah Jane "Sally" Reed, 86, of Winamac, passed away surrounded by her family at 10:38 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
She was born June 22, 1931 in Thornhope, to the late Ervin H. and Vesta McLellan Holcomb. On Nov. 23, 1951, she married Gordon Wayne Reed in North Judson. He passed away Oct. 8, 1971.

As a young woman, Mrs. Reed worked at Matilda's Cafe in Winamac and spent many years taking care of elderly people in their homes. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed playing and listening to music, especially playing the organ. She enjoyed shopping and spending time at the Von Tobel Senior Center. She was an avid Euchre player and IU Basketball and NASCAR fan. The greatest joy in her life was her family (and her two dachshunds, Shadow and Sparky). Whether it was spending time in the living room listening to her kids play music or spending time with her grandchildren, she was most in her element when she was surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 15, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac; and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, at the funeral home with Wayne Balmer officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.

MEDARYVILLE - Kenneth E. Scholz, 72 of Wheatfield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2.
He was born Jan. 9, 1945 to the late Richard C. and Edith A. Timm Scholz. He married Shirley J. Foust on April 6, 1968 at the Medaryville Christian Church. She survives.
