Pulaski County Community Foundation Board adds directors

Pulaski County Community Foundation (PCCF) Board welcomes three new directors in 2015.

Incoming members are:  Missy Culp, farmer/bookkeeper; Carola Forsythe, retired nurse; and Shane Pilarski, Alliance Bank vice president/controller.

PCCF is governed by a volunteer board of directors, each of whom is elected for a three-year term, with a maximum of three full consecutive terms of service.

Culp worked closely with adults and youth as 4-H/Youth Extension Educator and has experience with several other organizations.  Forsythe is active in her church and plans to utilize her free time and experience as a community volunteer. Pilarski, previously a high school Math teacher, is involved in a number of local organizations in addition to her church.

2015 PCCF officers are president Don Street; vice president Ron Kruger; secretary Patricia Roth; treasurer Robert Simpson.

Continuing directors are Bob Conn, Katie DeGroot, Julie Hanus, Jim Ketchen, Gregg Malott, Darlene Mellon, Tim Murray and Mary Welker.

Executive director Wendy Rose stated, “Our Community Foundation will be made stronger with the addition of these new directors. Representatives from around the county bring a depth of knowledge and experience along with geographic diversity. These unpaid volunteers deserve the community’s gratitude for giving their time, talent, and leadership to improve our county.”
