Indiana Hospital Association rolls out new hospital cost-comparison website

The Indiana Hospital Association has developed a new website that will help Hoosiers understand hospital billing.

The website can be found at mycareinsight.org and compares the costs of different hospitals across the state side-by-side, and illustrates hospital charge data in a compiled list.

“Our goal with careINsight was to create an easy-to-use tool that could clear up some of the confusion by making price and quality data available to the public so Hoosiers can make a more fully informed decision about their health care,” Douglas Leonard, president of the Indiana Hospital Association, said.

The website includes video tutorials on how to use the tools, as well as videos explaining the high costs of health care.
