Francesville – Alliance Bank has announced two staff promotions

Gina Gaddis has been promoted to loan operations manager, while Annie Scholz, who recently joined Alliance Bank as a management trainee/loan officer apprentice, has since been promoted to loan officer. She will be facilitating consumer, ag and commercial loans in Jasper and Pulaski counties.

Mrs. Gaddis has been in banking for 15 years, having worked as an administrative assistant at the Bank of Rantoul in Rossville, Ill. and joining the Alliance Bank team in 2008 as a loan assistant. She was promoted in 2014 to loan operations assistant, and will now run the entire department as the loan operations manager. She will be supervising a staff of six and oversee all loan operation processes and procedures.

“I am looking forward to learning and listening more, so that I and my staff can do the best job we can," she said. "Alliance Bank is a great place to work... they always make you feel like family.”

Mike O’Connor, SVP Lending stated, “Gina is an asset to Alliance Bank. Her ability to be an active listener and problem solver will enable her to help our team facilitate loan processing efficiently and effectively.”

Mrs. Gaddis fulfills the role left behind by recent retiree, Bonnie Kopka, who held the position for almost 30 years.

She resides on Lake Shafer in Monticello with husband Rod. With four sons, a daughter, and five grandsons, Gina is very active with her family and community.

A Hartford City native, Ms. Scholz has called Medaryville home for the last nine years. She embraces the banking philosophy of Alliance Bank. “I am very happy to join a reputable community bank such as Alliance Bank and am thrilled to be a part of their team, “ stated Scholz’. “I’m looking forward to building long term relationships with clients.”

She is active with Junior Achievement, just wrapping up the five-session “Our City” series at West Central Elementary. She is a member of the Pulaski County CDC, and an active member of St. John United Church of Christ.
