Scholarship winners named

WINAMAC - Commencement exercises at Winamac Community High School were held Friday evening, May 29, in the school gymnasium. Diplomas were presented to 90 seniors.

Speakers were the Class of 2015 Valedictorian Hannah DeGroot and Salutatorian Francesca Niewiadomski. The program also included the tradition of awarding several community scholarships. 

Winamac seniors no longer select a class motto, colors or flowers.

Many scholarships were awarded to graduates earlier in the month at Senior Awards Night. Scholarships awarded at Firday's commencement ceremonies were as follows:
