Community Foundation’s nonprofit series ends

A webinar series provided by the Pulaski County Community Foundation at no charge for local nonprofits was recently concluded.  

Ten people representing four local organizations attended the sessions on topics including best practices, applications and interviews, hiring, employee manuals, correcting performance issues, and termination.

The Nonprofit HR Series was offered to help small nonprofits understand the legal requirements and potential pitfalls of hiring and managing nonprofit employees. Resources and policies to effectively manage employees were shared.

One participant said, “I found the meeting very valuable and have shared the information with our director and HR manager. Thanks for inviting us to attend!”  

The series was offered in conjunction with support from Indiana Philanthropy Alliance for staff, trustees and board members of community and private foundations as well as nonprofit organizations.
