PulaskiPost.com announces location change

PulaskiPost.com has announced a change in its primary operating location.

Owner/editor Karen Fritz has moved the community website's "headquarters" from the Market Street office in downtown Winamac to her farm home in rural Winamac.

The building rented for the office of PulaskiPost.com, and its predecessor ExPRESS for the past 19 years has sold. Fritz, who operates the Post in semi-retirement, decided to move operations to her home.

She had been updating the website from home most days of the week in any case, but kept office hours two days a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) at the downtown office where reference materials and business records were also kept.

The website's visitors should notice no changes resulting from the move.

"The fun and satisfying part of operating the website is I can update it at anytime and from most anyplace with my laptop computer," Fritz notes. "I'm no longer tied to newspaper deadlines and location." She has kept PulaskiPost.com updated in the past six years even while traveling in and out of state.

Fritz, a journalist and editor, has been covering Pulaski County news and events for nearly 40 years.

PulaskiPost.com was created to serve the information/communication needs of Pulaski County in a "bulletin board" format. The website was revamped from the former ExPRESS weekly community paper's website in 2010. It is supported through advertising by local businesses and organizations.
