Alliance Bank names Pilarski interim president/CEO

FRANCESVILLE-   With the recent loss of Alliance Bank president/CEO, Terry Stevens, Alliance Bank has made some changes, as called for in its succession plan.

The board of directors has announced Shane Pilarski has been named Interim president/CEO.

"The board is confident in Shane’s ability to lead Alliance Bank," said a board spokesperson in a statement. "She will continue the bank’s positive approach to banking practices and ultimately do what is in the best interest of all stakeholders of the bank."

Pilarski grew up on a farm in Newton County where her family is now in its fourth generation of ownership. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and graduated with honors from the Barret Graduate School of Banking. With job opportunities at hand, she and her husband moved to Francesville over a decade ago where they have embedded themselves and their children into the community.

Pilarski’s tenure with Alliance Bank began in 2002. While at the bank, she’s worked in both the lending and accounting areas.

“The Alliance Bank family said good-bye to an inspiring man. We witnessed Terry Stevens fight a determined battle with faith, strength and humor,” stated Pilarski.

She went on to say, “I have had the privilege of observing and learning from two very strong and capable leaders of our organization, Roger Cummings and Terry Stevens. It is my intention to apply what I learned from these men to move Alliance Bank forward as a bank our communities, employees and shareholders will continue to take pride in.”
