S.R. 14 over Monon ditch to close six months for bridge repair

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) reports the S.R. 14 bridge over the Monon Ditch near Medaryville will close to all traffic on Monday, April 10 through the end of October so crews can rehabilitate and resurface the bridge deck.

The bridge is about three miles west of S.R. 39 and about three miles east of U.S. 421, between CR 1175 West and CR 1250 West.

INDOT says state road detours must be along state-maintained roadways only. Drivers traveling west on S.R. 14 will be detoured north on S.R. 39, west on S.R. 10, south on U.S. 421 and back to S.R. 14. Drivers wishing to travel east on S.R. 14 will be detoured north on U.S. 421, east on S.R. 10, south on S.R. 39 and back to S.R. 14.
