Brucker Kocher appointed Superior Court Judge

INDIANAPOLIS - Crystal Brucker Kocher was sworn in Friday afternoon (July 21) as the new judge of the Pulaski Superior Court by Circuit Court Judge Michael Shurn.

Her appointment to the bench was announced a week earlier by Gov. Eric J. Holcomb Friday to fill the vacancy which opened with the resignation of Judge Patrick Blankenship earlier this spring.

Kocher has extensive experience in both the civil and criminal arenas, having served not only as the juvenile magistrate in the Tippecanoe County Court system for several years, but also as a public defender in Tippecanoe County - and more recently as the chief deputy prosecutor in Pulaski County.
