Phyllis J. Garigan
February 18, 1925 to November 3, 2011
WINAMAC - Phyllis Jeanne Garigan, 86, of Winamac, passed away at 9:32 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
She was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Monterey, to the late Earl and Marie Gettier Stout. She married Cleon Feece. He died on July 30, 1959. She later married Michael Garigan who died on July 15, 1983.

Mrs. Garigan had worked as a seamtress for Hart, Shaftner & Marx in Rochester for many years. She also worked at the Rice Corp in Winamac and the sewing factory in Monterey. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary in Monterey and the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary in Winamac. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday (Nov. 7), at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.
Memorial donatons may be given to the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxillary or to the local charity of the donor's choice.
